Ad Specifications

• Animation and video must be less than 15 seconds or user initiated. No looping.
• Sound must be user initiated.

• Please deliver required assets two business days before your campaign’s start date.
• Please allow two business days for alterations.
• Send assets to help-ads@gigaom.com.

• GIF or JPEG less than 50 KB in size.
• Flash (version 4 or later) 100 KB for initial load, 1 MB for subsequent load, 2 MB for subsequent load if streaming.
• Flash files have special tracking considerations:
  • http://www.adobe.com/resources/richmedia/tracking/adserving_guide/
  • http://www.adobe.com/resources/richmedia/tracking/designers_guide/
• Flash files may not appear for a small amount of our visitors who have Flash disabled. At this time we do not have the ability to display a backup creative.
• Custom ad codes must account for our click tracking macro.
